The Denon DJ Prime 2 is the compact, two-channel version of Denon’s larger flagship model, the DJ Prime 4. The Prime 2 includes all the essential features of its bigger brother and represents a complete stand-alone DJ workstation that can be operated without being connected to a computer. DJs can load music from a USB stick, an SD card, or the SSD that can be integrated as an option, or they can stream it from a private Dropbox account or from popular streaming services via Wi-Fi, which makes a virtually unlimited song library available. For performing, the DJ Prime 2 provides two complete channels with three-band EQ, two microphone channels, effects, and cue buttons. The AUX input allows an external device such as a mobile phone, tablet computer, or CD player to be connected and the signal to be cued and adjusted in volume. And what is more, the mix can then be recorded onto a USB stick..
